Privacy policy

RowExact helps e-commerce sellers generate marketplace listing copy from product catalogs. This policy describes what we store, why we store it, and how you can manage or delete it.
Data we collect
- Account — email address, password hash, session tokens, and optional profile settings.
- Catalog jobs — uploaded spreadsheet rows, column mappings, platform/tone/language settings, and generated titles, descriptions, tags, bullets, and keywords.
- Credits — balance, purchase history, and per-row credit usage tied to completed generation.
- Payments — package purchased, amount, currency, Stripe session or payment IDs, and fulfillment status for one-time credit packs.
- Trial limits — a browser guest key, IP address, and fingerprint-style signals to enforce the free three-product trial without an account.
- Audit and security logs — sign-in events, magic-link requests, account changes, job actions, and similar activity records with timestamps and IP where available.
AI providers
When mock mode is off (MOCK_AI=false), we send only the product facts you mapped from your file to the configured AI provider (for example OpenAI or DeepSeek) to generate copy. We do not send your password or full payment card details to AI providers.
If email is configured, we send transactional messages such as magic-link sign-in links and payment receipts. We do not send marketing newsletters from the app. Support replies go through your configured support inbox.
How we use data
We use this data to run generation jobs, enforce credit and trial limits, fulfill purchases, show export-ready results, respond to support requests, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell catalog content or generated copy.
Retention
- Active jobs and generated copy remain until you delete the job or close your account.
- Guest trial jobs expire after a limited period and are not tied to a login.
- Payment and credit records are kept for billing, fraud prevention, and support.
- Deactivated accounts are blocked from login; some rows may be retained to prevent reuse abuse.
Your choices
- Export passed rows from the dashboard when they are export ready.
- Delete individual jobs from History (soft delete — they stop processing and leave your lists).
- Delete your account from Settings by typing DELETE. Sessions are revoked immediately. See data deletion for details.
